  • Apply standards, style, optimization, SEO and community guidelines.
  • Obtain, monitor and analyze metrics, reports and competition in order to continuously improve performance of the online properties.

Graphic Designer

  • Execute design tasks in alignment with style guides and standards.
  • Work with Creative Director to create and design visual treatments that meet project specification.
  • Identify, address and solve technical problems as they relate to interface, screen design and/or the Web.
  • Designs what can be built with relevant publishing systems.
  • Support advertising sales and marketing departments.
  • Support content/portal teams by creating packages, micro sites and editorial features.

Web Development / Information Technology

  • Manage and maximize the use of the CMS tool.
  • Design and develop frontend Web applications using technologies such as markup languages (HTML, XML, XHTML, DHTML), script languages (JavaScript, ActionScript) and CSS.
  • Create backend frameworks using PHP and databases.
  • Web server administration by configuring and tuning operating systems and application platforms such as Linux and Apache.
  • Database design, administration and tuning.
  • Design and develop new user experiences.
  • Generate and maintain the technical platform to automate content ingestion and feed generation (RSS and XML feeds).

QA Engineer

  • Ensure high quality products and content to guarantee the best member experience.
  • Elaborate and run test plans based on Content and IT teams’ needs.
  • Report test case results on a daily basis.
  • Identify functionality/usability opportunity areas.

Translator

  • Provide quality translations from English to Spanish based on the specific requirements from the Client, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with required format (i.e.: news articles, plain text, HTML).
